Obituary of Susan Lee Skull

Susan Lee Skull, 67, of Gary New Duluth, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2015, at her home. She was born April 19, 1948 in Duluth to John and Emily (Debeltz) Skull. Susan was a 1966 graduate of Morgan Park High School. Susan was employed at DelZotto Products in Wrenshall for over 40 years. She was an active member of the KSKJ Lodge, Slovenian Women’s Lodge and a life- long member and played the organ at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. Susan enjoyed church and community events with her family and many friends. Her grandchildren, Jenna and John were the love of her life. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Chris (Jenny); grandchildren, Jenna and John; brothers, Gerald (Carla) Skull and John (Barb) Skull; Aunt Doris Skull; nephews Jason (Kim) Skull, Mike (Angie) Skull and Tom (Danna) Skull; nieces, Katie Skull and Mary Skull. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gary New Duluth Development Alliance, which is responsible for the revitalization of the GND Recreation Center/Area. Memorials can be sent to Park State Bank, 2630 W. Superior St., Duluth, MN 55806 in Susan’s name. Gathering of family and friends from 10am until the 11am Memorial Mass Friday, January 15th at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 610 99th Avenue West. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota, 218-624-5200. Inurnment will be held in the spring.
