Obituary of Charlotte Ann Langguth

Charlotte Ann Langguth of Duluth. She was born Feb. 7, 1924 to Robert and Hattie Grodahl in Crookston, Minn. She moved to Alexandria in fourth grade, graduated from Alexandria High School, and then graduated from the Minneapolis School of Business. She went on to work for Hills Bros. Coffee. Char married the love of her life, Robert W. Langguth, Sept. 1, 1947. She loved playing card games with the grand kids and spending time at the lake. All of her friends soon became family. Char is preceded in death by her son Thomas; grandson Joel; husband Bob; parents, and two brothers. She is survived by her sister Boots; son Tim Langguth; son Rick Langguth (Sheila); six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 in the Cremation Society of Minnesota located at 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Char's request is to please send donations to The Salvation Army or The Alzheimer's Association.
