Obituary of Leonette A. Reid

Age 92, of Minneapolis, died January 13, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband Winston M. Reid and her son Thomas M. Reid. Survived by her daughters Susan Reid (Mark Schmidt), Ann Samuelson (Mark), and daughter-in-law Sherry Reid; grandchildren Kate, Joe, and Matt Schmidt, Erik and Josh Samuelson, Andy and Ben Reid, and Laura-Lee Doll; great-grandchildren Emma, Lily, Reilly, Cian, Ellery, and Ailyn. Lee lived a life of love, joy and service to others. Her family was the center of her life, her hospitality extended to all. Lee loved people, especially children. She was a lifetime active member of Central Lutheran Church, serving in countless ways, including Floral Guild, Funeral Receptions, Owls, and Friendly Visitors. Memorial service 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 19 at Central Lutheran Church, 333 South Twelfth Street, Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Central Lutheran Church Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
