Obituary of Daniel W. Prideaux

Daniel W. Prideaux, age 84, of Minnetonka. Born 07/19/1931, passed away peacefully Jan. 14, 2016. He was surrounded by his family as he passed in to eternity. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Emilie, as well as his sister Flossie (James) Doty. Survived by his brother Jerry (Juanita) and sister Janice Roberts. Also survived by his former wife and great friend Joanne Prideaux and his children Thomas (Anne), Ann (Eric) Fromm, Steven, William (Gabriella), and Scott as well as his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Daniel was a marketer extraordinaire and owned a very successful insurance brokerage agency in Edina, MN. He had an unbending can do attitude. In his retirement he was a tireless volunteer until the end. He was also a lifelong meditator and yoga practitioner. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Service will be held in his memory at the Cremation Society of Minnesota in Edina (7110 France Ave S, Edina MN 55439) on Jan. 28th. Visitation at 5 pm, service at 6 pm, followed by food and gathering. He will be interred at Fort Snelling at a later date.
