Obituary of James McMahon

Age 67, of Dellwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 20, 2016. Jim was a loving husband and father who loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with family. Jim loved the outdoors and also was an avid reader. He was a member of First Evangelical Free Church of Maplewood and loved spending time studying God's Word with his Christian brothers and sisters. Jim graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a BS in Marketing. Jim was a long-term employee of Xerox and then transitioned into transportation and warehousing management with several companies. Most recently he was working for Principal Financial Services as well as Prelude Homes and Services. Jim was a follower of Jesus Christ first and a husband and father second. He prioritized his faith and his family. Spending time with his wife and kids was what was most important after spending time with the Lord. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by loving wife of 21 years, Karen; children, Ryan, Dillon, Rachelle, Kristine (Kelly), Tiffany (Dale), and James Jr. (Kenda); grandchildren, Niki, Bailey, and Riley; 4 siblings; Maureen, Sheila, Kevin and Sean. Memorial service is Tuesday, January 26, at 1 pm with visitation one hour prior at First Evangelical Free Church of Maplewood, 2696 Hazelwood St., Maplewood, MN 55109.
