Obituary of Roberta Whitehall
Roberta Whitehall, died Jan. 26, 2016.
She was born Feb. 19, 1935 in Chicago to Michael and Virginia Niksic.
In 1950 she sang before President Harry S. Truman and Governor Adalai Stevenson in Chicago Stadium. She continued as a headline singer at some of Chicago's finer music venues. Midlife she launched a second career in public relations/marketing. Overseeing large special events, including the 1986 Duluth Reunion Festival. She retired to Duluth. She was an ardent political activist.
She is preceded in death by her parents and dear brother Robert Niksic.
Surviving are brothers Tom (Kathy) Niksic, Michael (Gail) Niksic; sister Romaine Niksic and nephews and nieces.
Her spark will be greatly missed.
