Obituary of Lee Ann Wethe

Lee Ann Wethe, age 61, of Hopkins, passed away January 28, 2016. Survived by beloved mother, Dolores Novotney; sister, Kim (Tom) Godward; brother, Paul Wethe; nephews, Brandon & Nick Godward; niece, Brittany Godward; aunts and cousins. Preceded in death by father, Tom Wethe and grandparents. Lee Ann graduated from Tartan High School and Lakewood Community College. She worked for a merchandising company that promoted musical artists including national recording artists, REM and local bands, Lamont Cranston & the Suburbs. Lee Ann was a big NASCAR fan and attended many national races and also volunteered at local racetracks. She loved all her pets throughout her life but most recently her beloved cat, Cody that preceded her in death. Memorial service Friday, Feb. 5th at 6PM with visitation 1 hour prior at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Memorials preferred to Feline Rescue, Inc., 593 Fairview Ave. S., St. Paul 55104. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery with her maternal grandparents, Edwin and Alice Friedrich.
