Obituary of John William Way

Way, John William, 73, of Crystal passed away Fri, Jan 29, 2016. John was born May 1, 1942, in Northville, SD to Willard Sr. and Lucille (Miller) Way. He grew up in that area and graduated from Redfield High School. He joined the Navy in Nov of 1963, and served most of his four years on the USS Carrier Franklin D Roosevelt until his discharge. He also served one tour in Vietnam. He married Dianna (Dee) Wagenmann on Feb 16, 1964. They made their home in Jacksonville, FL where he was stationed in the Navy. They moved to Crystal, MN in 1968. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife; daughter: Teri Way; pet: Buddy, 6 sisters and a brother. A Celebration of Life service will be Fri, Apr 29, 2016 at 10am at the Fort Snelling Chapel followed by the interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 11:30am.
