Obituary of Jennie A. Swanson

Age 84, of Columbia Heights, MN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 9th, 2016. Jennie will be forever missed by all who knew her. She was a loving and proud wife, mother and grandmother. Jennie will be remembered most for her inspiration, wisdom and witty sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Rebecca (Tim) Beaudette; two sons Alan (Carol) Swanson and Lee Swanson; five grandchildren, Elaine, Laurie, Chelsey, Joseph, Brittany; one great-grandson, Hayden; two sisters, Beverly (Jim) Walker and Marie (Gordon) Harmon. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel; three brothers, Fred, Earl, and Ed Erickson; two sisters, Margaret Nelson and Betty Szyperski; and late husband, Robert A. Swanson. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 20th at the Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park. Service will begin at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer’s Association.
