Obituary of Jean L. Christianson

Jean L. Christianson Age 85, of Richfield, passed away peacefully February 20, 2016. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by many. Long-time Hillcrest UMC member and Loaves and Fishes volunteer. Jean was dedicated to her family and was a warm and generous friend and hostess who left us with many lovely memories. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Richard; sweet daughter, Dawn; cherished grandson, Ryan; sister, Joy (Bill) Magnuson; brother, Douglas (Marcia) Olafson; brother-in-law, Roger Christianson. Survived by daughters, Sandi (Bob) Eddy and Lynn Williams; granddaughter, Katie (Charlie) Kotasek; sister, Karen (Doug) Hatling; brother, John Olafson (Janet); brother-in-law, Ron (Anita) Christianson; sister-in-law, Karen Christianson; nieces, nephews and their families; other loving relatives and many wonderful friends. Celebration of life Sat., February 27 at Hillcrest UMC, 9100 Russell Ave. S., Bloomington, visitation 10 AM, service 11 AM. Double interment with husband Richard at Fort Snelling National Cemetery 12 Noon Mon., May 9, 2016 Assembly Area #4. Memorials preferred to Hillcrest UMC or N.C. Little Memorial Hospice.
