Obituary of Robert F. Chadwick

Chadwick, Robert F. "Bob" Age 91, of Edina, MN, passed away peacefully on 2/20/16 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by wife, Betty; parents, Norman and Mildred Chadwick; and grandson, Kyle Hunt. He will be deeply missed by his children and their families: Sandy and Steve Hunt, Cindy and Steve Sipper and Scott and Erin Chadwick; grandchildren, Kelsey Hunt, Rachel (Dale) Bolger, Tracy (Zach) Hall and great grandchildren, Sage and Ivy and many friends. Bob was born in Minneapolis, graduated from Washburn High School, attended Macalester College and graduated from Iowa State University in Civil Engineering. He also served in the Navy. In 1949 he married Betty Anderson, the love of his life and together raised 3 children, Sandy, Cindy and Scott. Bob treasured his family, loved people and was a loyal friend. He loved the outdoors, including fishing, camping, gardening, and feeding and watching birds. He and Betty were square dancing partners for over 50 years and enjoyed traveling across the country and abroad. He was an active member of Hennepin Ave Methodist Church. Memorials may be given to the Nature Conservancy of MN.
