Janet Virginia Warren, 87 Died Feb. 26, 2016 Janet Virginia Warren, age 87, of Red Wing, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, Hilmer and Laura Nelson; husband, Richard Warren; brother and Donald Nelson. Survived by children, Becky and Brian Wetternach, Randall and Janet Warren, and Sue and Peter Gunness; grandchildren Joseph and Tracy Wetternach, Jennifer and John Salveson, Richard Warren and Gina Capodanno, Allison Warren, Lucy and Vance Kerber, Hans Gunness and friend Annie Rogosheske; great-grandchildren Kai, Sierra, Audrie, Ezra, and Miles; brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman Nelson, Gary and Janice Nelson, Nancy Nelson, and Georgene Cordes. Memorial service 11 a.m. Monday, March 28, at Christ Episcopal Church, 321 West Avenue, Red Wing (651-388-0411). Visitation one hour prior to the service. Janet loved spending time with family and friends, especially young children. She enjoyed church altar guild, PEO, bridge, golf, and attending concerts. She was an expert shopper, finding bargains and choosing the perfect gifts for family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Alzheimer's Association and Christ Episcopal Church, Red Wing.
