Obituary of Neva Hjelmstad-Forslund

Neva Hjelmstad-Forslund Age 90, was peacefully ushered to heaven on February 27, 2016 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by first husband Clifford Forslund, second husband Al Hjelmstad and sister Lorraine Weaver. Neva extended kindness and unconditional love to everyone she met. She is survived by her three children, Ann (Dick) Mlachnik, Curt (Barb) Forslund, Steve (Anne) Forslund; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and brother Dean Christopherson. Celebration of her life will be held on March 3 at 11 am at Normandale Lutheran Church, Edina. Visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.Interment Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.
