Obituary of Roger Carl Tryon

Roger Carl Tryon, 52, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 as a result of a GI Bleed. He was born March 25, 1963, in St. Paul, to Ralph and Ruth (Anderson) Tryon. Roger was confirmed in the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and was a 1981 graduate of East High School. He was a cook and chef in several Duluth area restaurants. Roger enjoyed fishing and was a true Vikings and Twins fan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Annette Tryon; maternal grandparents, Carl and Marian Anderson; brother Rex Tryon; brother-in-law Lonnie Maul; and grandson Preston Lee Svoboda. Roger is survived by his children, Damien (Alexandria) Tryon, Breeanna (Todd) Odell and Ashley Svoboda; grandchildren Jeramiah, Cory, Michael, Emmalee, Maizie and Crystal; parents, Ralph "Ron" and Ruth Tryon; brother Rodney and sister Rebecca Maul, all of Duluth; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
