Obituary of Robert E. Severns

Age 69, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2016. Proud member of the US Marine Corps and veteran of the Vietnam War. Bob touched countless lives as a member of the Alcoholics Anonymous community. He pioneered the field of grief counseling and dedicated his career to helping others through the Healing Heart Center. Bob followed his love of the outdoors to Rapid City, SD where he lived for many years before returning to MN to live with family. Survived by daughter, Christi Severns-Ivanov (Jeromy Hall); beloved dog, Coco and many other cherished family and friends. Celebration of his life will be at 2:00 PM, visitation 1:00 PM, Friday, March 11 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina 952-924-4100
