Obituary of John William Shand

John William Shand passed away peacefully on May 30th at the age of 86 years. Preceded in death by son, David; grandson, Jonathan White; sisters, Lorraine and Shirley and brothers, Archie and Jim. Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Beverly (Aronson); children: John R. (Louise), Nancy (Jack) White, Tom, Debbie (Mark) Holton and Sandy Shand; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; brothers: Bill, Donald and Danny and sister, Margaret. He served in the Korean War and worked at Minnegasco for 43 years, where he served on the board of directors. Memorial service at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Drive, Burnsville, MN on Saturday June 16 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service at church and reception to follow service. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
