Obituary of Lowanna R “Nikki” Earls

Lowanna R. “Nicki” (Myers) Earls, 66, of Cloquet, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at her home. She was born in Duluth on December 1, 1949 to Michael and Beulah Myers. Nicki was a graduate of Oakland High School in Oakland, CA. She worked as a Health Unit Coordinator at St. Mary’s Hospital for 10 years. She is preceded in death by her daughter Samantha Jean Burns; her parents; brother Paul l. Myers and sister Rebecca Jane Myers. Nicki is survived by her husband John E. “Bucky” Earls; sons, James M. Burns; Jeffrey Burns; grandchildren, Madison and Mason; sister Sherrill (Ray) Fulayter of Virginia Beach, VA; brother Roger (Marceille) Myers of Coon Rapids, MN as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank the Essentia cancer and radiation departments for the extraordinary care they provided Nicki. At her request, no services will be held.
