Obituary of Centhia Ann Warren Stricklin
Born May 11, 1922 to her parents, Charlie and Centhia Warren in Booneville, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mathilda Shumpert (Robert), Pinkie Louise Whitmore (Ray). She had one daughter, Estella Siggers Farmer (Harold Sr.), grandson, Harold Farmer, Jr. (Shirelyn Birdwell); nieces and nephews. Centhia Ann professed and came to Christ at the age of eight years old at Wolff Creek Baptist Church. She was a Missionary and a licensed cosmetologist in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was known by everyone as “Mother Dear.” She loved the Lord and loved to attend Church. Centhia had a healing Ministry. She passed peacefully on March 19, 2016 at Providence Place, Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she had been a resident for several years. Thanks to St. Croix Hospice, operating locally in Oakdale, MN, Providence Place personnel, Living Spirit United Methodist Church, friends and family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis at 2 PM.
