Obituary of Larry James ‘Butch’ Way

Larry James "Butch" Way, age 72, of Savage, MN, formerly of Roanoke, VA, ended his courageous battle with cancer and was called to his heavenly home on Monday, March 21st, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by his stepfather, Laurie Lewis Way Jr, mother, Thelma M. Way, sister, Judy M. Delli - Paoli, step-son Richard K. Way and nephew, Steven D. Craft Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Deborah J Way; daughter, Karen Rhodes of Asheboro, North Carolina; son, Larry Scott Way (Jaime) of Savage, MN; daughter, Heather Way (Mat Olson) of Savage, MN; daughter, Nicole Smith (Jason) of Backus, MN; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nephew, Ronald Craft also many other nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, and close friends. Larry "Butch" loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, he also loved to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. He had a passion for old cars, trucks and travel ( Mazatlan ) or just sitting in the yard enjoying the simple things in life......M.B.L. His strength, courage and kindness will continue to live in our hearts and memories forever and always......Cheetos. A celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 1, 2016, at 4:00pm at Saint James Lutheran Church, 3650 Williams Dr, Burnsville, MN visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
