Obituary of John George Kucker

John George Kucker, Jr., passed away peacefully at his home on June 2, 2018 at the age of 61. John was born in November 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Duluth, MN. He was an avid reader. John enjoyed the outdoors and was a creative “tinkerer”. He was an artist in many different genres, but some of his best work was done making snow shoes and walking sticks. John was a skilled heavy equipment operator and mechanic and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was honored to be a member of the renovation crew on the Aerial Lift Bridge. John was preceded in death by his father, John George, Sr. He is survived by his son, John Patrick Kucker; daughter, Jennifer Kucker (Todd Moe); grandson Mensen; granddaughter Sajionia; mother Joan Coughlin; sister, Jacqueline Nervick (Kevin); brother James Kucker (Robyn); sister Jana Roby (Joe); sister Joanna Walters (June) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation with the family will be from 2-3 p.m. on Monday, June 11 at the Cremation Society of MN, Duluth, followed by a 3 p.m. memorial service.
