Obituary of Gerald L. Nichols

NICHOLS, Gerald L., “Jerry”, “Nic”, “Joe”, age 87 of Columbia Heights, formerly of Princeton, passed away on March 24, 2016. U.S. Army veteran. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Beulah “Bea” Nichols; brothers, Floyd, Vern, Bruce, and Teddy; sister, Norma Elmer. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Ellen Sue (Peter) Zimmerman, Sally Ann (David) Rech; grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan (Kerstin), Thomas (Megan), Betsy (Calvin); great grandchildren, Kaya, Annika, Laila, Solvei, Synnove, Therese, Hailey, Hayden, Thea; sister, Mary Ann Schultz; nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. Gerald was a machinist until his retirement at age 82 and owned machine shops in Minneapolis, St. Joseph, and Princeton. Celebration of Life 11am Tuesday, April 5 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 111 N. Sixth Ave., Princeton with visitation at church ½ hour before. Private interment.
