Stearns, John Lester Born January 29, 1921, Langdon, ND... WWII veteran, Navy, USS Richmond. Past Commander, American Legion Bearcat 504. Preceded in death by wife, Jean; and son, David; son-in-Law Dean; mother Beulah; father Lester; sisters Frances and Donna; brother Robert. Survived by 10 children, Larry (Debbie), Mike (Susan), Mary, Tim, Anne, Clare, Lucy (David), Kitty, Theresa and Tom; 24 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many. Memorial gathering Friday, April 1 from 10:00am-12:00pm with prayer service at 11:15am at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN (612)825-2435. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
