Obituary of William H Didrikson

William H. Didrikson Bill age 67, lifelong resident of Duluth, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 26, 2016. He was born March 19, 1949 in Duluth to Robert and Marlene Didrikson. Bill served in the U. S. Marine Corps. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and being outdoors. Bill was a member of OWL’s Club of Duluth. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. Bill is survived by his wife of 24 years, Loretta (Schneider) Didrikson; children, Christine Didrikson, William A. (Kathy), Scott (Michelle Madson), Jennifer and Rachel Schneider; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his mother, Marlene; siblings, Bonnie (Chuck) Potter, Bud (Barb) and Brenda (Terry) Wallace; father and mother-in-law, William and Yvonne Schneider; extended family members and many good friends. Gathering of family and friends from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. celebration of his life Saturday, April 2nd in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., 218-624-5200.
