Obituary of John H. Benson

John H. Benson, age 87, of Burnsville, born April 12, 1928 to Ingram and Grace Benson, passed away April 4, 2016. Loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by wife of 66 years, Joyce; daughters Kathy (Peter), Janet (Danny), and Karen (Roger); grandchildren Lisa, Andrew, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Benjamin, and Courtney. U.S Navy veteran, University of Minnesota Forestry grad, lumber businessman for 40 years. What John enjoyed most was being outdoors in rural Minnesota, especially Lake Minnewaska and Glenwood, where he was born, married, and spent his retirement years with wife, Joyce.
