Obituary of Mary Kathleen DeBolt

Mary Kathleen DeBolt was born to Arthur C. and Mary A. Anderson August 13, 1927 in Worthington, MN. She began playing the piano at age 5, which became a life-long joy, and became church organist at 11. Her love of music also became her calling, teaching piano and as organist, sharing her talents for nearly 60 years. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years. Kathleen married Harold A. DeBolt, Jr. in 1950 and moved to North Branch with their children in 1955, residing there for nearly 40 years. She moved to the Twin Cities in 1991 after his death, and passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gilbert John Anderson, infant son, Mark Harold, and her husband. Kathleen is survived by her children, Mary (Pete) Crottier and Mike DeBolt, grandchildren Kadee and Michelle Crottier, Mark and Michaela DeBolt, and nieces and nephews. A public luncheon will be served at the Main Street Church located at 6500 Main Street, North Branch, MN from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 23.
