Obituary of Shirley Mae Aldridge

Shirley Mae Aldridge, 78, of Superior, passed away at Miller Dwan Hospital on April 11, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born in Motley, Minn. on Feb. 9, 1938, to Clifton and Evelyn (Harvey) Halladay. She retired from Royalton Manor Catholic Charities as head cook. Shirley enjoyed baking and painting and was an avid flower gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Davenport; brothers, James and Daryl Halladay and special friend Shay. Shirley is survived by daughter, Roberta "Robbie" (Bruce) DeMoure; eight grandchildren, Jenafer, Jonathan, Jesse, Stephanie, Shawn, Angela, Leslie, and Leroy; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl (Susan) Halladay and many extended family and friends. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Miller Dwan for the extraordinary care they provided Shirley. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
