Obituary of Wilma H. Gehrts

Wilma H. Gehrts, age 78, of Edina, passed away April 12, 2016. Wilma worked as a volunteer at the Hennepin County Library in Edina for several years; she also worked part-time at Target as a sampler. Wilma enjoyed being a part of her Bible study group, daily walks, reading and time spent with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life. Her kind and generous spirit will continue to live on in our hearts. Preceded in death by parents, William and Helen Ziebarth; brother, Walter and daughters, Elizabeth Buywick and Cynthia Claire. Survived by grandchildren, Jeanna (Mike) Botz and Nicholas (Michele) Claire; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Augustus Botz; sister, Mary Fenelon; sister-in-law, Marie Ziebarth; nieces, Theresa and Christine and nephews: David, Wayne and Steven. A celebration of Wilma’s life will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Memorials preferred to St. Joseph’s Indian School, P.O. Box 300, 1301 N Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325. Private family interment.
