Obituary of Donald Harkess

Donald G Harkess passed away at the age of 88 at his home on July 13, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Doris, five children, their spouses, and several grandchildren.

Don had a keen skill for mechanics both as an occupation as an engineer, as well as personally with his passion for cars. From a young age, he loved the outdoors, often canoeing with his best friend when he was a teenager. He was an explorer at heart who loved to travel on road trips with his family.

Although he had a quiet personality, he often demonstrated a dry sense of humor with a sparkle in his eye. Friends and family were very important to him, especially his wife of 64 years. He was very active in his church and highly regarded by many.

We will remember him fondly and miss him every day.
