Obituary of Jean Marie Buchholz

Jean Marie Buchholz (Monzel) of Inver Grove Heights, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on January 11th at the age of 89.  Jean is survived by her children, Tim (Sandi Price) Buchholz, Lori (Pat) Clancy and Tom (Amy Hottinger) Buchholz.  8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.  

Jean grew up on the West Side of St. Paul with her parents and sister.  Throughout her long life, Jean was a devoted mother, sister, friend, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She drew great joy from traveling the world, fishing, golfing, sewing, birdwatching and spending time with the family.  

She was the life of the party and honest to a fault.  She was a woman of faith and kept a close relationship with God.  Jean had a smile that could light up any room and was known for her wit and feisty personality.  She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.  

Jean’s life will be celebrated on Friday, January 17th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (7600 Cahill Ave, IGH).  10am visitation, 11am service with a luncheon following.
