Eugene "Gene" Lefto, of Maplewood, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025 at the age of 88 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Delores, brothers, Bill and Gordy and son, Tony. He is survived by wife of 41 years, Joan, siblings, Carol and Joe (Denise), sister-in-law, Marge, children, Kim (Al), Patty (John), Brett (Patty), Christy (Ron), Mike and Michelle (Kurt), 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, as well as many other loving family and friends. Gene was a proud member of local 455 as a pipefitter, longest union member ever, 71 years. Gene will be remembered for his love of cars, garage sales, gadgets, Dollar General and Menards. A Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview Lutheran Church, 1194 County C East, St Paul, MN on Saturday January 18th, 2025, visitation at 10AM with service at 11AM.
