Obituary of Joseph Zimmer
Joseph “Joe” Zimmer, 62 passed away peacefully with his loving wife Jacqui and his brothers by his side. He was born in St. Paul, MN on March 19, 1962 to Robert and Mary Kay Zimmer. He was known for his kindness, humor and generosity. He would never hesitate to help someone in need and always put others before himself.
Joe is survived by his wife Jacqui, his brothers Paul and Matt, his children Joe Jr. (Christine), Jason (Annika), Jeremiah (Emily), Jacob (Emily), Kendra (Greg), Lindsay and Jeremy, his step children Erin (Toni), and Matt (Heather), and his 28 grandchildren. He loved his wife and family dearly and will be sorely missed by both friends and family.
Joe worked on a printing press in Mankato, MN for many years before moving up north to Bigfork, MN with his wife Jacqui. He then worked for the City of Bigfork as Wastewater supervisor and took very much pride in his job. Joe and Jacqui purchased a log cabin on a lake which Joe worked very hard on it to make it a beautiful year round home. He loved his log home and was proud of his accomplishments. He loved traveling with his wife, hunting, fishing and the Vikings.
There will be a “Celebration of life” at Golf on the Edge in Bigfork, MN on Saturday December 14 from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials will be accepted in this time of need for Joseph Zimmer at 62 Olive Ave., Annandale, MN 55302.
