Obituary of Floyd Young

Young, Floyd Age 91, formerly of Bloomington, MN passed away peacefully on June 6, 2018. Floyd was born on October 10, 1926. He served in the Army during WWII and was stationed in Italy near the end of the war. On October 14, 1948, he married Ruthjane Larson. Floyd was a longtime member of the Zuhrah Shrine Bands. Following the death of Ruth, he frequently played music for Singles All Together (SAT). Floyd is preceded in death by his wife, Ruthjane Young. He is survived by daughter, Kay Marohn (William) and son, David (Julie); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Memorial Service to be held Tuesday, June 19th at 2 pm, Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave S., Minneapolis. The family requests memorials be sent to Cathedral of the Pines Camp or the Mt. Olivet Music programs.
