Obituary of Suzanne Kay Jensen

Suzanne Kay Jensen, 76, died Monday, November 18^th at HCMC Hospital in Minneapolis as a result of a fall in her home causing a traumatic brain injury.

Suz was born February 27, 1948 in Hutchinson, MN to Lyder and Nellie Jensen.  Graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1966 and moved to Minneapolis to attend Business School.  Suz career consisted of Office Management, Administrative Support, and Purchasing Agent.

Suz was an avid reader, excellent crafter, super sewer, superb cook, famous for her “scratch” chocolate cake among many other culinary creations.

Suz is survived by her nephew, Christopher, his loving mother and caregiver Janice, her life partner Nancy, several awesome cousins, and a large circle of caring, devoted friends, also her cat Kona.

She was preceded in death by her brother Pete Jensen, the ultimate “Harley Davidson” and Music guy.

A Casual Celebration of Life Gathering will occur on Friday, April 4, 2025

from 1:00pm to 4:00pm

at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue, Edina, MN.
