Obituary of Mary Jane Mundle
Mary Jane Mundle, 78, of Duluth, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in Solvay Hospice House.
Mary was born in Mayville, N.D., on April 16, 1938, to Charles and Clara (Nelson) Fullerton.
A hardworking single mother, Mary worked as a roller-skating carhop and a clerical worker for YWCA. She also delivered encyclopedias, but spent the majority of her career as a nurses aid. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, games and collecting art supplies. Mary was feisty, yet gracious. She relished the time and memories she shared with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Harold Heskin; sister, Joanie Heskin; and daughter, Linda Crandall.
Mary is survived by her children, Christine (Sam) Good, Wanda Gray and David Mundle; grandchildren, Samantha (Andy) Thompson, Matthew Good, Shannon Gray and Josh, Nicole and Adam Crandall; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Severinson, Darlene Orlowski, Gary (Carol) Heskin, Steven Heskin, Beverly (Jim) Patrick, Sharon (Kat) Beaulieu, Jim (Kathy) Heskin, Dale Heskin and Nora Munter as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
The family thanks the Solvay Hospice staff for the extraordinary care they provided Mary.
