Obituary of June Ethelyn Johnson

Born July 21, 1926 in Waukon, IA to Edward & Muriel Promnitz & went home to be with her Lord on November 3, 2024.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband Elmore. June will be missed by her sister-in-law Doreen (Jim) Gryder, daughters Marilee (David) Groeneweg & Brenda (Richard) Dietrich; 6 grandchildren Jamie (Dave) Wood, Ben (Meg) Groeneweg, Jeremy (Laura) Groeneweg, Breanna (Randy) Rudolph, Jordan (Paige) Groeneweg, Brendan Groeneweg,& 9 great-grandchildren. June graduated from Waukon HS & NW College. She served as a church secretary for many years.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at The Sanctuary at Brooklyn Center for their loving and wonderful care that they showed to June during her stay there.

Memorial service will be at Revive Church, 7849 West Broadway, Brooklyn Park, MN on Thursday, December 12 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
