Four days before her 104th birthday, Mom found her "Highway to Heaven" on November 5, 2024 at Mill City Senior Living in Faribault, MN.

Florence was born in Duluth, MN on November 9, 1920 to Andrew Anders Wallin and Gerda Caroline Carlsson Wallin.  She had four siblings, Agnes, Gordon, Carl and Sherman. After graduation from Denfeld High School, Florence got a teaching certificate and taught at a one room school house in Barnum, MN where she met her future husband, Donald M. Sather. They lived in Forth Worth, Texas, Duluth, Roseville, Mound, Garrison and Onamia during their time together. They were married for 58 years and raised 5 children.

Florence is survived by her 5 children and their spouses; Don and Betsy Sather of Copper Mountain, CO; Donna and Steve Bremer of Faribault, MN; Diane and Dean Hergert of Apple Valley, MN; Dennis and Kathy Sather of Blue Springs, MO; and Deb and Steve McCoy of Blufton, SC, as well as 12 Granchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, and family and friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Don, her parents, her brothers and sisters, and many friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with Fort Snelling as her final resting place.

She leaves us with a hole in our hearts but we know she is finally playing cribbage wtih Dad in Heaven.
