Cynthia Hedum, a beloved figure known for her kind heart and vibrant spirit, passed away peacefully at the age of 75. Born in Minneapolis to Theodora and Donald Sparrow, Cynthia grew up in a loving family. Her passion for learning led her to the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She also had a pilot's license and owned a Mexican restaurant named Cintia’s on 60th and Nicollet Avenue in South Minneapolis. She later became a dedicated Certified Public Accountant, applying her sharp mind and meticulous nature to her professional pursuits.

Beyond her career, Cynthia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid gardener, nurturing her flower beds with tender care. The beauty of nature was a constant source of inspiration, and she often sought solace and tranquility in the serene surroundings of Lake Nokomis.

Cynthia was also a passionate traveler, eager to explore new cultures and experiences. She particularly cherished her trips with her daughter, Jennifer. Together, they embarked on many adventures, creating lasting memories and strengthening their bond.

Her infectious laughter and positive outlook brightened the lives of those around her.

Cynthia is survived by her cherished daughter, Jennifer, her loving brothers Tony and David, her dear sister Michaelle, and her beloved nieces Denise, Stephanie, and Brianna Sparrow. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life.

As we mourn the loss of Cynthia, let us also celebrate the enduring legacy of her kindness, her intelligence, her unwavering optimism, and her love for travel. May her spirit continue to inspire us all.
