Barb was a great friend and neighbor to our family and before that to my grandfather Norman Schmidt who lived next door. We shared many laughs and fond moments over the fence. My favorite memory is inviting her over for a movie night in our backyard. She was took me under her wing as a new homeowner and as a new parent with a baby. Always offering her advice. Listening to her playing Clair Du Lune over the fence was a special treat. I hope she’s reunited with Maggie.
Love,
Peter, Lindsay, Reid and Graham Mische

Barb is and was a beautiful person inside and out. She was so creative, and knows so much about plants, flowers, dogs, birds and so much more. She was always giving me advice on how to take care of my plants and she was always looking in her doctor book on how she can fix what ever you might have, like a cold or anything else that might bother you. I have great memories of her helping me with my VIP, very import people. That was a senior progrom at my church. We would go places to visit or we would have lunch or dinner at the chruch with a special quest. She would bring her mother, Wanda, neighbor Ruth and my mother Gladys. In these last years I would love to go to her home after church and spend time with her playing card and just seeing if she needed anything. Her family, grandkids and her great grand kids were her joy and love, oh plus her dogs, birds and plants.
The last thing that Barb had me do was make sure I helped her get her Vote in, and it did get in on time. Barb would start to tell me she did not think she was going to make it much longer. I would always tell her she got more time, God has the time for all of us.
I am glad I got the time to have all those special moments and memiores with Barb. I know she is in the Arms of are Lord and is with know pain and is at Peace. She will be missed but always remembered! She left a wonderful Legacy of her Life! Love Mary Martin
