Robert Hyman Jr.
10/10/1968 – 10/9/2023
Robert Hyman Jr. (Rob) was born on October 10, 1968, in Baltimore, MD, and passed away just one day short of his 55th birthday on October 9, 2023, in St. Paul, MN. Rob served in the Navy as well as a civilian in the Middle East and carried the values of humility and generosity with him throughout his life.
Rob was known as a gentle giant to all who met him. He had a warm-hearted nature and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His love for his family was immeasurable, especially for his grandchildren, Jameson and Waylon Simons, who brought him immense joy.
A lover of simple pleasures, Rob enjoyed Barq’s Root Beer and Little Debbie Snacks, and his favorite music filled his life with rhythm, particularly the beats of Public Enemy. His love for adventure took him around the world, which he cherished deeply, but nothing compared to the happiness he felt when driving his beloved Corvette.
Rob leaves behind his daughter, Misha Simons, and son-in-law, Daniel James Simons Jr., his adored grandchildren, his brother, Vernell Hyman, his wife Angela, and their children, Vernell Jr., Varcell, and Vasean. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his deep laugh and snicker, his kind spirit, and the love he shared. His legacy of generosity and warmth will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
