Obituary of Clifford L Gullickson
Clifford LeMoyne Gullickson, 87 of Albertville was called home by his lord on October 10th, 2024. Cliff was born the son of Adolph and Olga Gullickson on June 12th, 1937, in Wheaton, Minnesota. He graduated from Wheaton High School in 1955. He served in the United States Navy from 1955-1958. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1958-1961.
He married Linda Heidelberger on February 3rd, 1973 and was married over 50 years. Clifford worked for International Paper for over 40 years. After retirement, he partnered with Linda running their in-home daycare. Cliff enjoyed hunting, fishing, cabin time, family and friends, Minnesota sporting events from professional to grandkids, playing cards, and much more.
Cliff is survived by his children. Ken (Wendy) Gullickson of Big Lake, Theresa Gullickson (daughter-in-law) of St. Paul, Dan Gullickson of St. Paul, Carrie (Kevin) Kitzberger of St.Michael, Amanda Bell of Big Lake, Jula (Justin) Nelson of Nowthen, Lela (Tyler) Pollock of Monticello. Grandchildren Megan (Brandon) Denne, Krista (Chad) Gullickson-Henry, Kellen (Nikki) Gullickson, Renne (Steve) Gassman, Joe Gullickson, Daniel LeFavor, Isabella (Camron) Kitzberger, Kyler Kitzberger, Brooklyn & Michael Jones, Tayden Pollock, Anya & Lexi Nelson, along with several great grandchildren. Siblings Raymond (Pat) Gullickson, Siblings in laws, Bill (Carmen) Heidelberger, Joe Dahinden, Craig (Bonnie) Heidelberger, close family friend Fathia Stringer and Family, Duncan the Cat and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, in-laws, wife Linda, sons Rick & Michael Gullickson, infant daughter, siblings Doris (Ervin) Simpson, Ralph Gullickson, Beverly (Bruce) Edberg, Janice Dahinden, Nephews Bradley Edberg, Jeff Petroske, and Keith Heidelberger.
Memorial services include a visitation on Friday, October 25th at Liberty Restaurant & Bar at 25 Central Ave E St. Michael, MN from 5-8pm. Funeral will be held at Christ Church Otsego on Saturday, October 26th at 11am with visitation 1 hour prior at 10am. Lunch will be served after service.
