I am heartbroken to hear about Lindsay. I have so many wonderful memories of us together in Europe. She was an amazing friend and always had a smile on her face. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone that had the opportunity to know and love her.

Lindsay was my “sister from another mister.” She always said that to me. I loved her from the day I met her in kindergarten. The Smiths were my second family, growing up. They fully embraced me as their “other daughter and sister.” I cannot express enough gratitude for the love I’ve received from this family, and from Lindsay, specifically. My heart is broken from the loss of my dear friend. She always lit up a room with her infectious welcoming personality. And that smile of hers. It was an unbeatable beam of love, compassion and fun! I cannot believe I’m speaking of my best friend in the past tense. I also can’t believe I can’t call or text her anymore. Whether it be to celebrate a recent victory, or to cry about our latest catastrophe. My goal is to honor her by trying my darnedest to make someone’s day, everyday. Whether it be through a smile exchanged with a stranger, or a hug with an old friend or family member in need, or even a loving pet to a dog or cat you come across. She loved so fiercely. Loves you forever and ever Lindzo!!! (To the rest of the Smiths, you can never get rid of me, you will also be my family for the rest of my life! Love you all so much!)

I so enjoyed being around Lindsay as she grew up, sharing special and everyday moments. Growing closer these last few years as adults and not just aunt/niece made me love her even more. Her perpetual smile, zest for life, love of adventure and caring for animals & people in need defined her. My sweet, Lindsay, I miss you so much, Your Aunt Diane

Lindsay was the person you wanted in your corner because she would always have your back. Her smile would light up a room. I can’t imagine a world without her in it. Rest in peace sweet girl.
