Obituary of Roger A Suter

Roger Allen Suter, aged 84, passed away suddenly in his home on 10/09/24. Roger was born on November 15, 1939, in East Chain, Minnesota, to Herbert and Elsa Suter. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Suter, along with his parents Herbert, Elsa and brother Gail.

Roger is survived by his three loving children: Colette (Scott) Freitag, Craig (Angie) Suter, and Nicol (Rob) Toddy. He is also survived by grandchildren: Sean (Jen), Leah (Elena), Lauren, Alison, Jacob (Christine), Andrew, Jordin (Noah), Alicia, Blake and Jack. Roger has four great-grandchildren, who were undoubtedly the joys of his life Apollo, Grayson, Gwendolyn and Louisa. Also survived by sisters; Beverly, Carolyn, Marolyn, Evelyn, Joyce, Sylvia, Peggy and brother Bob. Along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Roger's smile could light up a room, and he was never without a comment to make you laugh. Besides his family being his greatest joy, he loved fishing, playing poker and going to the Casino. Never have we met a luckier man- winning $77,777 on a $5.00 scratch-off was a highlight for him for sure! He will be deeply missed, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and reunited with the love of his life, Sandy.
