Obituary of Lois Adelle Etken

Lois Adelle Etken passed away at the age of 102 on September 20, 2024. 

She was the third of seven children born on March 26, 1922, to Paul and Anna Anderson. 

Lois married Edward Etken on July 3, 1963, and they enjoyed many years together traveling and spending many winters in Mesa, Arizona.  Lois worked at North Star Woolen Mills weaving blankets from 1941 – 1944.  In 1945, Lois moved to California and worked for the army typing.  After the war ended, she returned to Minneapolis and worked at Western Insurance Company until her retirement in 1979.  Lois’s passion was sewing, knitting, and quilting.   

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Anderson, two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
