Dee and Dewey loved camping. In the later years they loved traveling to the southwest (AZ) to spend winters in Mesa and meeting friends in Palm Desert and Carlsbad, CA.  Her hobbies were eating out, reading, knitting, refinishing furniture, and playing “Words with Friends” on her iPad.  Dee loved playing any kind of game but especially enjoyed playing card games.  She was a member of the Villard and Alexandria Senior Center card clubs.  While she enjoyed all these activities, she took special joy and delight in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
