Obituary of Marion Ethel Pollack

Marion Ethel Pollack, age 91, of Minnetonka, beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24th, surrounded by her family. "Mare" is survived by her two daughters, Alyne Murphy (Tim) and Jill Pollack. She was the proud grandma of Lindsay Newton (Haig) & Lauren Warner (Ted). Mare's pride and joy were her great-grandchildren, Kai & Reese Newton and Sloane & Gwenyth Warner. Marion spent most of her life in Minnesota, but her true love was her hometown of Chicago, IL. Marion's life was rich with friends and family all over the country, which is a testament to how she made everyone around her feel. Our family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful care staff at Methodist Hospital & The Sholom Home. A celebration of Marion's life will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd at 4pm at the Seven Oaks Condominiums Penthouse, 3412 Oak Ridge Road, Minnetonka, 55305. In lieu of flowers, it was Marion's wish to make a donation to Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
