Obituary of Glen Richard Ham

Glen Richard Ham, age 85, of Cambridge, passed away and went home to his Heavenly Father on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Glen was born on November 9, 1938, to Marvin and Ida (Hewitt) Ham in Frederick, SD. He graduated from Barnard, SD High School. He married LaVonne Kurtz on January 25, 1958. As a devoted father, Glen nurtured a loving and close-knit family. He was the cherished husband of LaVonne Ham for 66 years, and together they created a beautiful legacy of love and devotion. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. His warm presence and unconditional love will forever be missed.

Glen’s passions included his faith, family and friends. He was a committed follower of Christ and served as a deacon for his church.

Glen will be remembered as a man who could fix anything. If he couldn’t fix it, he would try again until he did and then teach others how to fix it. His expertise will be greatly missed.
