It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard (Rick) Charles Tourville of St. Paul, MN, who left us on September 17, 2024 at the age of 48. Rick suffered a massive heart attack in the early morning hours of Monday, September 16th. He was declared brain dead the morning of September 17th. As a registered organ donor and he will be able to give the greatest gift of life upon his passing.

Rick was Born on October 21, 1975, in St. Paul, MN, to Thomas and Mary Francis (Bohmert) Tourville. Rick's life was full of laughter and love, but was also marked by challenges that he faced with resilience and grit.

He was a graduate of Harding High School in 1996. Rick served his country honorably in the United States Navy from September 1997 to September 2000, where he held the rank of Damage Controlman (DC3). He continued his service in the Naval Reserves until September 2005, when he received an honorable discharge.

Rick was hardworking and dedicated to providing for his family. His career spanned various industries, including fire protection, apartment maintenance, plumbing, and commercial driving for FedEx. Most recently, he was employed by MyGrant Glass Company, where he was a valued member of the team.

In May 2014, Rick met his loving second wife, Jennifer (Hageman) Tourville, who he married in March of 2017. Together, they welcomed two beautiful sons into the world: Thomas E. Tourville, born in April 2015, and Henry J. Tourville, born in April 2019. Rick cherished every moment spent with his family, creating lasting memories filled with joy and laughter.

Known for his sense of humor and booming laugh, Rick had a natural ability to bring joy to those around him. He loved camping, hosting bonfires, and lending a helping hand; whatever the need, Rick was always there to help. He adored spending time with his sons, wife, and their beloved golden retriever, Harlow.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Hageman) Tourville. They were married for 7 years; his children Thomas E. Tourville and Henry J. Tourville. His parents, Thomas and Mary Francis (Bohmert) Tourville. His siblings, Patty (Matthew) Jackels, Robert (Sandee) Tourville, Diana (Paul) Holenwald, Susan (Michael) Dopkins and Russel (Tammy) Tourville. A large number of loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. As well in-laws; Linda & Kim Hageman, Katie & Travis Ferguson and Molly & Keith Bryant. And many friends who loved him as family.

Rick will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 3-6pm at Jen & Rick's home: 918 McLean Ave. St. Paul, MN 55106. Where we will gather to remember the warm spirit and loving heart of Rick Tourville, sharing stories with one another and toasting Rick's life.
