Grandma Judy, for as long as I knew you, you treated me with so much warmth. I always looked forward to your hugs. I would have hugged you tighter if I knew it was the last time I'd get to see you. You were a beautiful soul, and we are all more enriched for having been loved by you.
I'm sorry for your loss, Uncle Bradley, Aunt Sarah, Mikko, Aunt Teleen, Calla and Carenna. My heart breaks for you all. Please take care of yourselves.

I will always remember swinging from the branches of the weeping willow tree on Sheridan Ave. That has always been my favorite tree. Teleen, Bradley and families I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss your mom a lot. Teleen, I just might call you for some of your mom's recipes.
With deepest Sympathies

Brad and Taleen,
Your mom, in addition to just being such a great and supportive person for both me and Mike, as well as a good friend to my mom and dad, was so important in our lives. The tireless work she did as president of the band boosters at Kennedy helped all of us have some amazing experiences together, both learning, and in building a community, in a school that was so big it often seemed a daunting task to make friends. It was those early days before school even started my freshman year (I was the first freshman class to attend Kennedy in decades too so it was especially daunting), I was pretty intimidated by the idea of heading to high school. Being in band, and all of the social functions, both official, and unofficial, helped me have a place to land. I really feel like your mom (and all the parents involved in the Band Boosters) were responsible for creating that place to land, outside of just regular classes and rehearsals. Add to that all of the years we would later take over the basement of your mom and dad's house, always being greeted with smiles and questions about how school and life was going, with the occasional sprinkle of sage advice when we were having rough times, and I think it is safe to say that your mother was a pretty solid fixture in our lives and played a large role in shaping who we all turned out to be. We were so lucky for that and I am sure you both know how lucky you were to have her as a mother. We will all miss her dearly and hope you can take the time you need to grieve her passing. We are so sorry for your loss.
Ryan Ingebritsen and Shannon Budd.

So sorry for your loss Teleen and Brad. Your mother was always so welcoming to us. For years she allowed us to take over the basement and have band practices (loudly...). She was an incredibly patient person to let us do that for so long. I'll always have a lot of fun memories of those days.
