Michele Renee Miller Korkki 1/18/1967 - 8/10/2024

Michele (“Mama”) Renee Miller Korkki, of Blaine, Minnesota, passed away at her home on August 10th, 2024.

Born In Minneapolis in 1967 to father Jaak Juhansoo and mother Judy Coursolle.

Michele graduated from Anoka High School in 1985 and then pursued a degree in radio broadcasting from Brown Institute.

She was first and foremost a mother of 5 children, but Mama of many more. She dedicated her life to helping others, never hesitating to voice her opinions in defense of her beliefs or for others. Whether it was feeding all the neighborhood kids or listening to someone's troubles over a cup of coffee, she approached every interaction with kindness, humor, and compassion. She truly earned her name “Mama.” She found true love in Ernie, a man who deeply understood and cared for her; they exchanged vows on April 20th, 2023.

Michele was preceded in death by Jaak Juhansoo (Father) and Judy Coursolle (Mother).

Michele is survived by Ernie Korkki (Husband), Lawrence Miller (Dad), Paula Miller (Stepmother), Michael Miller (Brother), Liz Miller Janssen (Sister), Amy Miller (Sister), David Miller (Brother), Peeter Juhansoo (Brother), Josh Durkot (Son), Sam Durkot (Son), Luke Durkot (Son), Rachel Ryan (Daughter), Maggie Ryan (Daughter), Angela Korkki (Stepdaughter), Kenneth Korkki (Stepson), Derek Korkki (Stepson), Aaron Korkki (Stepson) and 9 grandchildren.

Michele will have a private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis MN. Family and friends are welcome to join the celebration of life at her residence in Blaine, MN, on September 6, 2024.
