Tami and I met in 4th grade and have been friends for about 54 years. So many words could be written to describe her many attributes; thoughtful, strong, loyal and caring. Tami demonstrated grace and fortitude in difficult times and never dwelled on what she was going through. I remember her feeling so blessed with living long enough to see Bruce and Katie get married and then to be able to enjoy her grandchildren. The universe has lost a kind and loving soul.
Condolences to her cherished family. Rest in peace Tami.

Kelly, JP, Katie & Family and Friends:
I am so sorry for the loss of Tami. Cherish the memories you hold in your heart during this difficult time. She is now in the arms of Jesus. Glory! Where there is no pain and suffering. And may He grant comfort and peace to your entire family now and in the days ahead as you grieve this very deep, earthy loss.
I also pray that when you lift your eyes, you see the beautiful hope of a reunion in heaven.
Rest in peace my beautiful friend....I am going to miss you so much!

I loved Tami, we were friends for 47 years. We would talk, cry, and share family things, kids, grandkids, our lives and what was going on. We'd talk about her cancer, her struggles, and what it meant to deal with it for so long. I'd tell her God had something special in mind for her, that she was an inspiration for others in their fight. I know she has climbed mountains, she can soar, she has earned her angel wings and she no longer suffers. She will be missed, she is loved, and she will always hold a special place in my heart and I am sure so many others. Be free Tami, we love you!

My auntie Tami will be greatly missed. I have many many memories of her especially our family christmases. But one in particular is when I was pregnant with lilli and she didn’t think she would be on this earth to see her own grandchildren be born. So when I was in labor with “baby” (auntie has called Lilli that since she was born) her and my grandma waited all day in that waiting room so that aunt Tami could watch Lilli be born. And even better she made it to see her children get married and have babies of their own which I know she wanted so badly. My aunt Tami was a true warrior and I will love and miss her always….. I lit a purple candle because you could always find my auntie Tami decked out in purple

I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to all of Tami's friends and family. I did not see Tami often but when we did run into each other at family gatherings or out on the town it was always such a treat. I loved how she always asked how I was doing and asked about my kids, she remembered their names and what they like to do ...it meant a lot that she always remembered. She loved telling the story about riding in a car with my husband Doug when they were teens driving well over 100 miles an hour and describing how terrifying yet exciting the ride was. I will miss her, especially that twinkle in her eyes when she spoke of the grandchildren.
